A recognized scientist in the field of food technology, specializing in sustainable methods of processing plant raw materials, the valorization of agri-food by-products, and alternative protein sources – both plant-based and insect-derived. He is the author or co-author of over 180 scientific publications, with a cumulative Impact Factor exceeding 550 and an H-index of 32 (Web of Science). He has been ranked among the world’s TOP 2% scientists according to the global list compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier.
He has participated in numerous scientific and industrial projects, serving as principal investigator for research funded by the Polish National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) and the Polish National Science Centre (NCN). He collaborates with research centers around the world, including the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, the University of Tennessee, the University of British Columbia, and the Miguel Hernández University of Elche. He serves as an editor and member of editorial boards of several international scientific journals and is a reviewer for prestigious industry periodicals.
He is a laureate of numerous awards and distinctions, including the Scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education in Poland for Outstanding Young Scientists and the City of Poznań Award for an exceptional doctoral dissertation.
He is a certified academic tutor and a graduate of postgraduate studies in project management at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. He actively promotes science through media appearances, participation in outreach events, and close collaboration with the food industry.
